That Ghettos Jazz

A Symphony gunning…

Cunning shots and sirens…

My finger prints on late nights…

I’m guilty of that…

Craven for chocolate…

Sweet tooth…

Bare foot walking across…

My eye sight….

(I’m going to try to break this down in… Not how I talk…)

……………………………………………….

(Me)

“Damn!”

“You are a short shot of sassy Tennessee wisky!”

“I’ve never been down south before.”

“Could you take me for a tour”

“I’m just kidding!”

“Hi!”

“My name is….”

(Her)

“That’s what you probably say to them all.”

“You can’t play me!”

“I’m to smart to damn smart.”

(Me)

“Well then…”

“If I’m a Player then.”

“I  already won the game.”

“Girl you smiling harder then a boil egg!”

“Just don’t crack on me.”

(Her)

“ha ha ok!”

“I’ll admit that was corney but sweet.”

(Me)

“Sweety you shining like summer I Jamaica!”

“You want to chill with me?”

“we could listen to some “Anita Baker.”

Her explaination attempt denied.

(Me)

“Let’s get up out of hear and go some place quiet.”

“Shorrty!”

“I see you smiling!”

“I’m not going to sit here!”

“Tell you im not like those other guys!”

“I’d rather show you!”

“If you stick around.”

“I just want to get to know you.”

“Become  friends first.”

(her)

” Ya Ya!”

“I hear you.”

(Me)

“Can you allow me to show you my intentions are good?”

“Can I show you that I’m cooler than a Air conditioning unit?”

“Or if you could just give me your number?”

“I’m was born in the 80s.”

“I don’t do texting.”

(her)

“Ha ha ha ok!”

(me)

“Are you shore?”

(her”)

“yessssss!”

“Ha ha ha!”

“Damn hold up!”

………………………………………

Jazz in here eyes…

Song notes across her breath…

Drunkenness in secret desire…

She sang to me with no vocals…

Those eyes lashing at me batting morse code….

Saying…

“Come get me!”

Batter up!

No games!

This is jazz baby…

  1. Hi there 🙂
I just started as an editor for an online publishing agency. It publishes mainly young and or new African authors. If you’d be interested in reading a few of the books and posting honest reviews, I could email you free copies. It’d really help with the author’s growth.
    Cheers!
